Carl F Flesch Home Page
Carl F Flesch (1910 - 2008), son of the famous violinist, grew up in the Berlin of the 1920s and '30s. He came into almost daily contact with some of the most outstanding musicians of the time - Furtwängler, Kreisler, Schnabel, Heifetz, Nikisch, Rosé, Szigeti, Thibaud, Huberman - and, of course, his father's pupils Rostal, Szeryng, Haendel, Neveu, Hassid and many others.

In retirement he wrote the following books:

  • "And do you also play the violin?"
  • "Inside insurance"
  • "Where do you come from?"
